Major/Essential Duties of Job
The Student Parking Appeals Board receives and adjudicates visitor and student appeals in regard to parking violations on campus. Three members constitute a quorum for all meetings. The board meets on a regularly scheduled basis of not less than semi-weekly during the semester, including summer sessions (schedule is determined based on class schedule.) Appellants may submit their appeal in writing online. The appellants are notified of the decision made by the board through email. All decisions rendered by the Appeals Board are final and re-appeals are not available. The appeal board will dispose of cases by either upholding the charges completely, upholding the charge but reducing the fine to an amount they seem appropriate, or by dismissing the charges completely based upon the situation. • Starting salary will be $11.00/hour. $11.50/hour after training is complete. Non-Football events will be $18.00/hour. Football Game Days only will be $20.00/hour. • May be eligible for priority registration as a student employee (Texas A&M students only). • Preference will be given to students participating in the First-Gen High Impact Experience program offered through the Routh First-Generation Center. Qualifications
• Must have strong people skills and strong verbal and written skills • Must have a valid driver's license. • Must be enrolled in TAMU classes and able to work all the above schedule. • Must be enrolled as a student for a minimum of 9 hours per semester (excluding Summer Session) at A&M. • All student employees are required to work a minimum of 10 Special Event Credits (work 6 in the Fall and work 4 in the spring). • Transportation Services welcomes work study participants.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous customer service experience

Salary
$11.00/hr (eligible for student employee pay plan)
