Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters must display a Texas A&M motorcycle permit or pay by the hour. They should also park in designated motorcycle parking areas and must not be parked in the parking garages or in any parking spaces striped or marked for automobiles or bicycles. Only one motorcycle per parking space is allowed.

Hourly motorcycle visitor parking is available in any motorcycle space on campus using the ParkMobile app to register your license plate number and pay.

Motorcycle parking areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If the motorcycle area you want to use is full, then you will need to use another available motorcycle parking area. There are enough motorcycle spaces on campus to accommodate all the motorcycles, but they may be located further from the building than the ones that are most popular near buildings where you are seeing overcrowding.

Reserved numbered parking spaces are for automobiles only. Trailers, motorcycles, bicycles, mopeds or scooters are not authorized to park in surface or garage reserved numbered parking spaces.

On football gamedays, motorcycles can park for free in on-campus motorcycle spaces EXCEPT Lot 48.

Motorcycle Permits

There is no need to pre-register for a Motorcycle permit. Motorcycle permits are always available and may be purchased online beginning August 1. There is no wait list, and we normally do not sell out of Motorcycle permits.

If you purchase a full-price, annual, vehicle permit (not a night permit), a Motorcycle permit is available for purchase at half price. If the Motorcycle permit is not requested along with the vehicle permit during registration, you must bring your picture ID to Polo Rd. Building, Suite 350 to purchase the half price permit.

Motorcycles must be parked with the license plate facing the drive lane. You will receive a physical sticker in the mail. Motorcycle permits should be affixed to the rear of the vehicle, as near as possible to the license plate, where the entire permit can be seen. Permits affixed to the sides or front of the motorcycle are unacceptable.

Visit the RELLIS page for information about Motorcycle permits and parking on the RELLIS campus.
